Composite Geomembrane
One-Fabric-One-Film · Two-Fabric-One-Film
Engineered by bonding non-woven geotextile layers to HDPE geomembrane under continuous infrared heat-pressing — delivering a single, integrated liner with superior impermeability, mechanical strength, and rapid installation performance.
What Is Composite Geomembrane?
Composite geomembrane is an advanced geosynthetic liner produced by thermally bonding one or two layers of non-woven geotextile directly onto an HDPE geomembrane core using a continuous infrared heat-pressing process. The result is a fully integrated, inseparable composite that performs as both a barrier and a structural reinforcement layer simultaneously.
Unlike installing geotextile and geomembrane as separate layers on-site, the composite format eliminates interlayer slip, reduces installation steps, and ensures consistent bonding performance throughout the liner system.
At Liaoning Hengyu, anti-aging and UV-stabilizing additives are incorporated during production, extending service life in both outdoor and buried environments. Two standard configurations are available — one-fabric-one-film (1G1M) and two-fabric-one-film (2G1M) — to match the demands of different project types.
💡 Key Advantage: One composite product replaces two separate materials. Faster to install, harder to delaminate, and more consistent in performance across the entire liner footprint.

8 Performance Advantages
Dual-Function in One Layer
Combines the geotextile's reinforcement, separation and filtration roles with the geomembrane's impermeability — eliminating the need for two separately sourced and installed materials.
Smooth or Textured Surface Options
Smooth-surface composites suit canal lining and pond floors, while textured variants provide higher interface friction on slopes and embankments, preventing liner migration under load.
High Tensile & Puncture Resistance
The bonded geotextile layer distributes point loads across a wider area, significantly reducing puncture risk from angular aggregate, roots or construction equipment.
Chemical & UV Resistance
Resistant to acids, alkalis, organic solvents and UV radiation. UV stabilizers incorporated during extrusion maintain mechanical performance throughout extended outdoor exposure.
Anti-Delamination Bond
Heat-pressing during production creates a molecular-level bond between fabric and film layers — eliminating the interlayer slip and delamination risks common in separately laid systems.
Faster, Simpler Installation
A single roll replaces a two-step laying process. Fewer seams, fewer materials to manage on-site, and no risk of misalignment between geotextile and geomembrane layers during backfilling.
Anti-Aging & Long Service Life
Polymer-based anti-aging additives resist thermal oxidation and hydrolysis, maintaining performance in buried, submerged and exposed installations over extended project lifespans.
OEM / Custom Specifications
Liaoning Hengyu accepts custom orders for non-standard weights, widths, film thicknesses and fabric configurations. Engineering support provided for project-specific liner design.
